Virtual Cost Engineering Studio (V-CES) is a Web based service comprising features like:

• e-Mentor to assist professionals to create cost estimates using any of the following methodologies:
  bottom up, parametric or analogy based.
• e-Training in cost engineering concepts and in the mentioned cost engineering techniques.
• e-Community to interact with colleagues and experts to learn from experiences of others and to establish informal and formal relationships.

Through the V-CES services we expect users will need less time to do accurate estimations. As a result, their companies benefit through the timely knowledge of their true bottom line costs and so gain a competitive edge. On a macro level, it will also make the best practice accessible to the suppliers and help achieve better OEM - supplier integration.
